Insurance claims for roof cleanings?

Has anyone had any luck with getting insurance companies to cover (partial, or full) the cost of a roof cleaning? If so, I would greatly appreciate the time to pick your brain, or even just a run down on the process. Thanks a lot guys.

I looked into this with my Nationwide agent and State Farm agent and they never heard of such a thing and also asked them about the so called "threat to cancel their policy if they don't clean their roof" like some people are saying is happening. They both told me that they have not heard of such a thing and I asked them to look into it and their higher ups and so on have not heard of such things so you just never know. Maybe it is a state by state thing.

I have had customers call about their roof stains on roofs less than 10 years old. I suggested they call the manufacturer. In two cases Tamko. I provided before an after pics. they had to do paper work and in both cases Tamko offered max $800. That did not completely cover my price. I told them I would not be responsible for paperwork or would I wait for them to get their check before being paid

It seems that Texas is the last to follow suit on this. I'm going to call around to the insurance companies and roofing manufacturers to see if I can get some definitive answers. I'll let you guys know my findings.
