I was wondering what the cons are to putting your insurance certificate and w9 on your website for people to download. What are the drawbacks? I was thinking of doing it.

W-9 has to have a current date, Insurance certificate usually has to have the customer listed as an additional insured. So I don't know if it's viable or not.

One big con about putting your W9 on your site is identity theft. I've had it happen to me and it's not fun at all.

Yeah especially if you use your SSN instead of your EIN number.
