Inspirational Post!

What happened to all of those pretty wrapped flatbeds? Going the way of the trailer setup Ty? Congrats! A million shows a lot of dedication!

I got rid of the flat beds and moved to trucks pulling trailers. Cheaper registration fees, cheaper when they break down, and when the truck goes down I still have a power washer that can be used.

I have 1 flatbed left in my fleet.

THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL THE SUPPORT!!

Ty,

CONGRATULATIONS AND MEGA PROPS!

That is terrific. You are definitely an inspiration to everyone who has doubted whether or not money can be made in this business.

To continued success!

I cant imagine doing what I do with trailers. I can see a potential for SOO many accidents. I love my flat beds.

Your correct about that, rule one no backing up. Ever

Rule two no drives thru

Stop tail gating

Never trust anyone but u hooked up trailer correct.

Keep those rules and your good.

Now I had less flat beds and the accident with trucks worse. True I have never had a trailer totaled

Oh and trailers can't drive in off hours

Seems like work trucks get used for all sorts of things, camping , trips to store, pick kids up from school. Amazing they get stolen more to.

I like trailers much better than flatbeds. Mainly because when my power washer goes down I can just switch it out with another. No accidents yet!

I did have an accident w my flatbed though. One of my guys backed it into my new Chevy!! Luckily it was just minor damage. The other issue I have is guys dropping the tailgate on the trailer. But only minor damage.

Ty any tips on your residential marketing you would like to share??

thanks

Market towards affluent wealthy neighborhoods and offer discounts if they let you clean their businesses they own! ;)

Also, I would suggest up selling everything you can while you are there. I also put all my clients info into our QB and an email database and send an email around holiday seasons and every couple months or so with special discounts. People love discounts. People actually respond. We use Get Response but looking back I probably would have used Mail Chimp if I knew about it. I also pass out Magnets to all my Residential customers. Magnets really do end up on fridges. I have a magnet on my fridge from a Pest Control company I used 3 years ago! And don't get the thin magnets get the thicker magnet because I got the thin magnet and it doesn't really stick up on the fridge very well. But I get returning customers from driveways I cleaned 2 years ago from the magnets! Other than that, obviously Im big on online marketing towards residential customers. I wish I had some big secret to share but I don't. Just plugging away and working hard daily.

Hope this advice helped in some way! haha

I agree with you Scott. Mine fits nicely into the Starbucks drive thru in the morning when I'm getting coffee.

I love Mine for Heavy Cleanings, Love the Trailers and the ability to be diverse. I can even work in a Location without a Truck all night. I can leave the equipment on a project also for days if Needed for Several Shifts set up on GO

I like Flatbeds, I would consider a Smart Truck Flatbed if I did it all over again. CALI I would never own a 1 ton Insurance and License off the HOOK

The registration and insurance isn't that bad Ron. The registration runs $750 a year and insurance is only $2200 a year on my truck. You get used to paying it after awhile lol.

Have one, will be going to box truck asp

Yeah That way the Insurance and Fuel will Triple, i'm not Saying don't Get it because its a Moving Bill Board for sure. Only ever owned one, Never had a Sign on it so I do not Know if thats would have worked. Heck People didn't even know Pressure washing Back Then.
