I didn't see it as disrespectful Ron. I made the statement that it seemed to be the case. If it turns out not to be the case as it seems then I'll happily apologize.

We are in a Sensitive mode, Allison has had positive feed back because the mag has moved along. Those here who have helped her and supported her I do not want her to feel we are abandoning her.

If anything we have helped her and maybe she doesn't realize this, opportunity to now help those who support her.

Sorry Tony if you felt I was being defensive.

Not sure if I am following, but I find the magazine to be good. I like it, I see the power wash store and south side equipment on there advertising. I like the issue with the cleaning of historical brick buildings. that's exactly what I would love to learn.

Yeah its all great, we just want more articles and more education. This group has supported content , much of it.

Again nothing wrong with either, the real question is do we need another?

I would read anything about this industry. how much does something like that cost to start up?? Is it to be supported by uamcc?

I told Scott is he started a private I would fund it, he Declined because he has plenty of money.

The UAMCC i'm not sure would do it, someone Key would have to step forward and have a long term commitment. But they could get paid !!!! $$$$$$ We are not broke

Here's a Fun Post, I was doing historical Research on the industry SMILE

How Old were you ?

This is something Allison Has a great advantage, she has been in the industry a long while as a writer.

Tell us why you think that the magazine, if started by the UAMCC should go to the customers instead of contractors, I would like to understand you thinking Ron.

Thanks.

Pure and Simple, I careless about and article in CT or EC. You guys all know me, so they are worthless to me. besides do you care if contractors know you chris?

You want customers to know you. This industry is backwards, why would the org care about stories other than educating there members.

Its why this stuff KEEPs Failing, Allison should be getting Stories from Russ , Paul and her other advertisers. If i'm going to pick up a resource I want to learn something I didn't know. Not here about your fleetwash job you did last month Chris. No offense but you show me here, I love it because thats what we do.

Now is being in E-clean bad for any of US? NO its good because a customer might stumble on them. But it would be a stumble...

I doubt that a customer would read a trade magazine. It would have to be written to grab their (the customers ) attention. how would that happen?

WHY CLEAN MATTER!!!!

Try that , the article directed to assist them

Not sure what you mean here.

OK I'm following you here.

So the UAMCC supports a magazine that is owned and operated by a past PWNA president that still is very active in the organization?

In terms of Allison I have nothing against her as I know she is doing what she knows to do and she has more experience then anybody writing in this industry.

Do I think the UAMCC should have their own magazine, well sure, but how is it going to be different then whats already out there?

Don't do what all the others have done and failed.

I don't think if the Pwna supported the mag it would be around.

They pay out of membership money 500 a month for one article. The ads I can only make assumptions.

Keep in mind there is nothing wrong or illegal about this. Some think maybe a conflict to be fair to others. I don't feel it's a big issue, they are very clear they want to make money.

I have paid Allison for anything privately I have asked her to do. She has to eat !!

Oct event San Diego free free text me for more details !!

I know there is nothing illegal, I just know that Paul is the owner and is still very active in the PWNA. Considering I think the last fleet wash certification was down the street from my shop at his place, I would say very active.

Allison has to eat, pay mortgage, ect. I don't expect her to work for free, I don't work for free, why should she.

I guess my issue is that with the current ownership of eclean I am supporting something that I just can't. It would be like the owner of fleetwash owning a magazine, or somebody like that. Many guys here would not even look at the cover if they knew the profits went that way.

Just sayin.....

These are some very good points.

As usual you are right Ron, I want customers to know about the industry but more specifically the UAMCC so they can see that there is a professional organization out there to help and support the pressure cleaning contractors.

Not sure how to get the word out about the organization or if it is just making them aware of the organization but what is the best way to help customers out there become aware of the UAMCC? Vendor booths at trade shows? a UAMCC magazine? Ads in professional publications mentioning the UAMCC? Ads in big city newspapers?

What do you think is the best way to get the public aware of the UAMCC?
