Ill Post it again for PWI

XSTREAM H2O

Just wanted to post this picture of the sidewalk entrance of the establishment where I actually work full time as their Asset Protection Agent. I noticed this terrible job somebody did trying to remove gum. I took the picture just recently thinking a month was more than ample time for whoever did the work to touch it up...guess he/she isnt coming back.

I posted this on thegrimescene and thought I would see what people think on PWI who dont get over to the other board to often. X-Stream H20 doesn't do flat work but I am starting to think the competition around here doesn't do too great of a job so perhaps its time to get myself a new piece of equipment. Ok enough writing, here is the picture.

What is wrong with it, I thought that is how a lot of people around the country do it.

Oh wait..... It is.

Yes total crap job. That is very generous of you to give them a month to fix it. I say too long. They attempted to blast the gum up with a 0 tip.

I have a very basic surface cleaner as well as a hot water machine...I have all the tools to collect run off if needed. I have talked to the store manager already to see what they can do to get me to do the work. What methods do you flat workers do to remove the gum? I know I could do a better job even with my freebie surface cleaner I received for purchasing our skid. Thinking of purchasing a Landa. Ron what do you use again?

HA normally I wouldn't wait that long. Should have seen it when it was freshly done. I couldn't believe what I was looking at. I actually couldnt stop laughing and I still chuckle every time I walk in.

Some would be amazed at what some companies get for power washing, their prices may be fair but the guy they send to do the job is, just not educated in the discipline or don't care.

Ron is Landa all the way. From machines to surface cleaners.

I saw one store that they were doing it inhouse. The employee had spelled his name on the side walk. I had to laugh when I saw it, but the manger didnt think it was to funny, they fired him and continue to doing it in house.

Looks like "Cold water pressure washing at it's best".

" No hot water needed for gum removal ". Your results may vary. :hang2: :cray: LOL

This is a perfect example of why we need people like Ron speaking at the Round Table about Selling Pressure Washing Services.

You try and try and try but they will not budge, they say that they don't have money in the budget.

They say that they do it themselves.

They say that the job is "ok". and leave it at that.

I know you probably can't make them clean it but maybe some great selling advice can work in this type of situation??????
