How many times have we discussed this on the phone? I remember getting drag out of bed one morning and handed a cup and the phone. There's Ron w/the high volume tune "WHAT ARE YOU SAYING LOU?"
It was an interesting dialog. You know where I stand.

Ron, How do you propose we get the money, if not from members or vendors or Girl scouts, But how.... This I have to know...

Ron;s right my membership is about $195 year. In that I get the Cleaner Times so that alone is worth about $36/yr. Also since this is a tax write off you can take another 20%+ off right there. So in essense my membership cost me about $100 free and clear. So I go out and make that in an hour Powerwashing. For my Membership which I consider pretty cheap I've gotten some nice jobs thru my connection with my org. and more importantly I met some great guys and gals with similiar goals and beliefs.

With that being said I'm very happy with my PWNA membership.

As for Ron starting an org. whether its free or not I've been waiting about 6 yrs to see if this would ever happen here..Can it....Possibly..I'm still waiting

Hey Ron, I would sure be in if it was an org. that was as yous discribed. I feel the PWNA serves what they serve - the "New Contractor".

It would be great to have an organization that would reach all levels of contractors, including the outfits looking to grow from moderate size to "Ron" size.

I'm surprised that more pressure washing organizations have not popped-up..

I would join any free organization that:
-would benefit me and my business
-offer me creditbility in this industry by being a member
-logo and name are recognize by the consumers of this world
-offer me an less expensive avenue to purchase liability insurance/healtcare
-could educate me in this industry, so I could make more money
-network with equipment/chemical suppliers-offer a member discount program

I would pay $600.00 a year for an organization that could offer all of the above............

I really havn't follow that organization in several years, so which 3 or 4 do they now have?
 
I only saw 2 - the last ones listed and I don't know that you have to be a member to take classes through the company that was awarded the teaching contract for the PWNA - I mean, you can probably give them your money for a class and tell them you don't want the cert??

I can see the benefit for myself in Nashville, I'm new but I'll be glad to pitch in whatever I can, I'm getting a really good education sitting here on my bum, might as well do SOMETHING for it.
