In Jackson we have Hood Cleaners , we have Fire Equipment Companies and We have concrete Cleaners.. It seems like I am the only company in Mississippi that does all three of these things under one roof .. To me this seems like a good sales point for restaurant owners.. I have tried offering better prices , all in one service all kind of stuff.. Maybe I am missing something..
I get people saying well we have been using fisher for 6 years so what if I pay them 3 times as much for the same service you are offering.
Then we have the fire equipment fake contract.. Some fire and cleaning companies around here get there customers to sign a peice of paper that is a contract for service.. The customers actually think they are bound to this contract.
I think I am going to try the flyer approach and go door to door...
I would say as things go right now 70% of my cash flow is from vent hood cleanings , 20 % from Concrete and 10% from fire inspections/recharge ...
I have even thought about hiring commission sales and service people but I guess it takes special people to hang with this kind of work..
You would think I would be busy , it seems like every time I go to a store in jackson I see out of date tags .. I used to tell the store managers about it and try to sell my service but whenI would go back to the store the previous company who had a tag on it would have already come back to do the inspection.. So I gave up on being a messenger service..:cool:
 
Focus on one thing and service that focus point. All we service are hoods and we turn down all the rest, even if we are at the location. If Iwere to do the side jobs I could not make the second for the night. It's just the way we do it.
