I started stocking heat resistant light globes & guards for my customers on my van. My cost is just under $4.Yes you can save a buck with the regular ones, but if you hit these ones with water while there still hot they won’t shatter or crack.
 
I would not use the non food grade around food-buy the high price ones and charge. In fact that is code in Calif.
