Have not been down there since. I told the gc to give me a week. I plan on going down this Saturday. I spoke with a gentleman an he told me to try soft scrub. He claims his boss uses it for this type of situation all the time. I will also bring down some sort of vinegar. This is the glass, so I am assuming if its not etched it can be cleaned, correct? .

There should be something to get if off as long as it's not etched.
I honestly have never dealt with salt deposits on glass. Soft scrub, Barkeeper's Friend, Zud and the like can be tried. Vinegar and soap on a white pad might get it loose.
Do you recall being able to feel the stains with your fingernails?

yes, I could kinda rub it off. would of taken a week but I could rub off a streak. I am still finding it hard to understand how this happened. I only had a small amount of sh in my mix. I remember it was a small amount because I thought I would need to add more to take off some mold. I will let you know whats up. They are holding half my money until I get this cleaned up. That's 750 so you can bet I will fix it soon.

I agree - vinegar and water should do the trick. Most likely it's just soap scum that has dried. It can be a bear to get off if your not using the right solutions to remove it.
Well thanks guys, the vinegar worked. I will tell you though I was 45 seconds away from getting in my truck and calling my insurance company. This stuff did not want to come off AT ALL. took some serious elbow grease. But in the end they all came clean and look real nice.

Sweew! Good deal.

Like I said I was ready to leave. Already had the discussion with the h/o about calling the insurance company on Tuesday. Told him I was baffled and didn't know what to do. But something told me to go try one more time. I upped the vinegar in the spray bottle and went back for one more shot and scrubbed like a sonofagun and wala there was a clean spot. 3.5 hours for 2 doors 2 windows and a small oval window above the doors. talk about relieved..........
