How we may give the Hot water units away

Here the link in case anyone hasn't heard about it. It is a 5.5 GPM 3500 PSI Hot Water Skid. Complete with hoses, guns and QC's. See full specs at Sun Brite Supply. :D

The buckets sound like a fun idea.

If you do it that way, only 20 people get a shot at it? Take all the names of all attendees and have a drawing at the end of the R/T.

Everyone attending gets a number, the numbers are put on a ping pong ball so they wont stick together. Then just put them into a 5 gal pail mix them up and draw 1 winner!!
 
Just curious, why are you guys giving away hot water units? Who has that kind of money to be doing that? I'll put a name in a hat, do belly dances, whatever you like Ron!!

No, 20 guys might have a chance instead of one at the end. Kind of like lets make a deal.

:confused: I thought that everyone who attended an RT this year was gonna be eligible in the drawing. Ron, you even said you were guarding all the badges and putting them under lock and key in your safe. (Your words not mine.) You said it in Bama a short time after all the cards went blowing around in the parking lot. Hahaha! I hope you found # 8
 
I agree, it is all chance, so what if someone wins it in the beginning of the Round Table, the people are not going there only for the chance of winning a hot water skid, they are going for the great info, meeting people, Networking, learning, etc....

What if the Vendor pulled out and said they couldn't afford to give away the hot water skid, would people cancel and not want to go to the Round Table???

The Round Tables are not about giveaways, they are about other, more important things and helping your business.

If people don't understand that then maybe they are going for the wrong reason.

Larry, you get additional chances. YES... those numbers I threw in the trash. remember at the end when I got the badges? Thats what will be at MB upon your arrival.

You going to atlanta? I know will see you at florida.
 
Not sure about the Georgia RT yet. I'll be at the Florida one though if I can find a way to stay in business that long. :rolleyes: I all my years of doing this I've never seen it this dead down here. I'm thinking of moving to Myrtle Beach. Hahaha!

I like this idea or something like it for the hot water skid. Every number goes in something and have the grand drawing for the hot water skid all by itself mid day Saturday

That way the vendor Sunbrite who is giving it away also gets a little more promotion time for giving away such a nice peice of equipment. I think it should be given away as the highlight giveaway and not with anything else

Plus last year when we gave stuff away, it seemed kind of screwy and interferred with the actual RT just doing it mixed throughout the RT. Giveaways are great but I dont want to mess with the educational part of the RT either. I liked how Russ and you did it in Bama, pull the # out of a box and it was done. Maybe give some of the stuff away at set times maybe once or twice Saturday and once on Sunday

Just some ideas to think of, The bucket idea may take up to much time or like I said interfer. Just a thought to think of ...timing.....Any thoughts?
