How to FRY your Delavan...Roof Cleaning

William, I NEVER have your posts removed. I have requested them to be replaced. Ask the mods.

Show me the post in which I claimed the teflon tape controversy.

Poor William. Are you intimidated by a girl???!!!!

Here is the post where you made your tef tape claim.

I did ask the mod. He said you requested it be removed. Kinda like when you called me offering me discounted prices if I would edit a post you didn't like.
I am intimidated by few and impressed by those that know more than I do. You have done neither. Anymore questions.

The post were replaced. Please share all of the information. You can see for yourselves.

Nothing wrong with my teflon tape post. Just trying to save everyone some time any money.

For the record, William, I did call you and never offered a discount to you. I treat all of our customers the same and with respect.

I have heard that one distributor gives kickbacks for behavior such as what was described above.

LOL!

I am locking this thread down. Congratulations. I don't often do it just for grin and giggles.

If you do not agree with a distributor, bring substantive reasons why they are wrong, not just specious attacks.

Are they Still frying?
Pressure Washer Products recommends UPSIZING the discharge hose on your Delavan pump. For example, if you have a 5850, use a 5/8" id hose and keep the length of the hose to a minimum or use two lengths of hose when you need the extra length. For a Delavan 7870 Fatboy, use at least a 3/4"id hose with the same idea in regards to hose length.

We have had many calls related to fried pumps/pressure switches that were not sold by PWP due to restrictions or hose friction loss. These 5850's and Fatboy's were not sold by PWP but were coupled with 1/2" polybraid hose instead of at least 5/8" Kuri Tec.

Also, do not use polybraid hose on the suction side of the pump. It will collapse under suction especially when it is warm out. DO NOT STARVE YOUR PUMP. Use an ag hose which tends to be more rigid. If the inlet of the pump is 1/2" use at least 3/4" id hose or even better, 1" id ag hose.

We answer the phone 24 hours a day and assist our callers with any tech help they may need no matter where they purchased the equipment.
