How Many Power Washers?

What constitutes a company? I know a lot of guys that claim that they are powerwashers, but have zero employees, and don't do any work themselves, but they have a pressure washer.

Like every painting company? There are 673 power washers listed in Angie's list here. Most are painting companies.

Well you could use google with specific paramaters to find any registered business in the United States.. Using that, I would look into businesses that have "Power Washing" "Pressure Washing" "Exterior Services" "Pressure Cleaning" and other variances to that... then figure how many businesses there are and take an unbiased, randomized poll of 100 businesses on how many units they run.

And then you would have an average based on 100 random companies.

+1. Most are probably fly-by-nighters
 
Be interesting to know that number!!

That would be kind of hard to figure out.
