how do you guys downstream vinyl siding?

when i pressure wash vinyl i start with soaping from bottom up, than rinse top down.i hear everyone talking about downstreaming and how great it is.i would like to know the steps and if you think its better? any input would be great. thanks alot. rick

How are you presently applying your chems now?
 
for andy

i mix the concentrated solution in a bucket with water and run it through the pw. I plan on buying the x-jet in case i have to use bleach.any help would be great. thanks rick
 
If your saying you are running it through the pw'er then you aren't downstreaming.

When you say you run it through your pressure washer what "exactly" do you mean?
 
i use the automatic detergent injection hose from pw.
 
Does your injection hose come before the pump or after the pump?

its out in my shed & thats got a snow bank in front of it.but i think its after the pump. ill try to dig it out tomorow. i havent used it since sept & i cant remember for sure? thanks
 
as long as it is after the pump you are fine. You just don't want to be running the bleach/chems through your pump

You are currently downstreaming. The pw came with it. it is after the pump, it is a downstream soap injector.

and for not abusing me,i do tile & grout & i have custys asking to p.w. there houses this year thats all.I do a few already and it got out. thanks again,i know you guys are pros.
