I am setting up my rig and have tons of questions, One being how do you set up the gun? I have a gun swivel, QC's, a HP ball valve. I want to be able to switch differnt guns and to my surface cleaner. Anyone have pictures? What about whips?

the swivel should come first ,then the quick connect ......i dont use the ball valve any more because i felt it was in the way.if i needed to switch i would walk to the truck ,i usually wash with hot thru my surface cleaner then rinse with cold ,so i would have to go to the truck anyway....in other words i have my ball valve connected at my hose reel so that its handy ....same theory different place

I always use a ball valve right before the gun so I can disconnect right there instead of keep walking back to my truck. I also a times may use just the ball valve to help in the rinsing process. When I'm doing commercial flatwork and I have at least 300' of Hose laid out this is when the ball valve really comes in handy so I can switch out to the surface machine without walking all the way back to the truck.

The other thing about having the ball valve right before the gun is that if your powerwasher is not set up to run water back into the tank in by-pass mode then all you have to do is let the water just run thru the ball valve while the Powerwasher is running so the pump will not over heat. This is important when you have employees working the machine like I do so they don't cook the pump.
