when down streaming what is a good mix using 12% bleach and simple cherry powder? would it need to be diluted or fine like it is. i don't mind a little longer dwell time since i am a one man show in order to allow more time to keep plants wet

If you can't find 12% clorox will work, just don't dilute it.

Down streaming Daytona Beach

I downstream with 3.5 gal SH, 1.5 gal water, and 16 oz Simple Cherry in a 5'er and it works fine for me.

I could be wrong here but I think it depends on how many gpm your machine is. My mix is much weaker, I use tough stuff instead of the simple cherry.

Landa 3500 @ 5, how is tuff stuff different and where do you get it. this is my first time trying simple cherry

You may end up adjusting your mix depending on the downstream ratio your injector creates. Just do a test spot and if that 12% Sodium Hypo eats the algae in seconds you will know it's too strong. If it takes a couple minutes to completely eat thick algae than you have the perfect ratio. If you notice that it is too strong, just water the plants under the test area thouroughly and weaken your mix with some more water.

I think Bobby's mix will work fine for you. If you have any add a teaspoon of Lauaramine oxide to shine the windows up.

I like simple cherry, If it drys on the windows you can still rinse it off with no problems.

Simple Cherry is a good house wash mix, I use it most of the time for House Washing here in South Texas.

I use it occasionally. From my understanding you ahve to use what you mix that day or you mix goes bad. I keep some on hand though becuase there are certain applications that I use it for. I like the green wash I use now cause my mix stays hot for up to 5 days.

I have used the Simple Cherry with the house wash mix down here in South Texas where I had extra and it did last a few days but I would not use it a week or longer later on, like a lot of additives you add to the SH, they start to fight each other and start breaking down, some faster than others.

I typically only make what I will use on the job so I don't waste any but that is just me.

The problem I have always had is if I have 2 gallons left over, at th end of the day there are a bunch of white crystals at the bottom. In fact, on a job one day I was having problems getting my mix to draw through my DS injector. After checking several things I finally discovered that my draw tube was sitting in a bigh mound of small crystal balls cloggin up the little filter. I called Bob and asked him about and he told me to always use what I mix up that day. I ahve heard other guys say they have not had that problem, but it hapens to me everytime.

Again, It's a great product and performs great. It's just that when I have a weeks worth of jobs lined up, I dont want have to worry about exact measurements every day. Especially now that use the dual pump on just about all my house washes as well as roof cleanings. I can make up 65 gallon batches at a time and not worry about the mix going bad.
