Are Hot water pressure washers worth dubble the price as regular pressure washers. I have a 200 degree shampooer that cost 10 time as much as my cold water one, but it's not 10 times better. should I buy a hot pressure washer? Can it clean more than a regular pressure washer, or is it just to make the companys who make the pressure washers more money..

Eric,

First question is what do you plan to use it for, if doing fleet washing then NO you don't need the hot water for that, now before someon shoves a foot into my mouth I don't do fleet work but that is what I understand about it.

If on the other hand you plan to do concrete cleaning YES you need hot water to do the job correctly.

Also if you plan to clean any heavy equipment hot water is a must there too.

Brand and price now come into play if you do decide to buy a hot water machine.

Let others talk about brand since I have only used the brand I have so cannot be to objective on that subject.

(I am not one in favor of hot boxes, some swear by them, others swear at them)

Do what I did, I already had two cold water machines so I bought a stand alone hot water generator...I will try to post an image:

I paid ~$1500.00 for the machine. It is permanantly mounted to the floor and vented through the roof. It runs on propane gas and even though propane does cost more that diesel, it is (in my opinion) more maintenance free and it requires no power.

Eric,
Its like Jon said what do you want to use it for. I have a Landa Hot water PW and for Brick/Concrete cleaning it definitely makes a difference. I even advertise just that in my add which I think is a strong selling point.

The end result is the machine will pay for itself. Good Luck
