I have been calling Tom D. almost over a year now, seemed like a nice guy.
From what I have seen they sell commercial products that work in the industrial field and where commercial products did not meet their specifications they introduced their own industrial solutions.
Mr T. George Podell, was very helpful to me on the phone. I think that Tom D runs Mr. Podell's Hot and Mighty division.

Why Tom would be so negative is beyond me. Who does he think buys his equipment? I am currently looking to buy new equipment by February 10. The Hot and Mighty did look impressive on the videos and I was interested in that and a few other distributors. But after his negativity and contractor bashing, I refuse to buy him. I am sure that T. George Podell is a reputable company but I have requested literature on his equipment and have yet to receive it. However, I did speak to Mr. Robert Hinderliter and he sent me information the same day and I received it the next day!!!! A company is only as good as the service they provide. If we did not provide our customers with good service, they will go somewheeres else. As for us contractors who buy from distributors, the same rules apply. Just my 2 cents.

First of all I respond with quotes within hours of someone asking. Second of all I sent a private email that Mr Ron Musgraves decided to reveal. Third this is why Hot and Mighty decided to do this show on our own. Based on my calls from Ron I wouldn't be suprised if this guy was told to post that by Ron. Ron you do not run the world. You can bash me all you want but be careful when distributing emails that are stated to be private. All that does is give people that were questioning your morals and ethics ammunition. People read between the lines I have nothing to gain from this beef. I asked for my equipment to be removed from this site instead he posts a private email complaining about the same thing he has told me on the phone. You sir are entitled to your opinion but do not lie. You did not contact my company. Buy the Delco or is it Rahsco this week? Oh yeah your name Ron nice try I have been to expo's my whole life and you are nowere near old enough to have invented the word expo.

Tom, I did ask for literature through your website and still have heard no response. When I called on Friday, I was put on hold for 6 minutes before the phone hung up. Maybe something is wrong with your server. It happens, no big deal. But since you are aware of my inquiry, still have heard no response. No big deal there either. It is us contractors who purchase equipment from distributors. In a sense, it is us who are YOUR customers. Calling us names and your general attitude is not very professional. Unfortunately i Have not had time to talk to the other fine distributors that visit this page, but I will very soon. You said you were through with this BBS and would be gone but yet you went from bashing contractors to coming back and bashing your very own competitors.:bash: Not very professional in my opinion. I am sure you are a very knowledgeable man in your field of expertise and it would have been nice to see what your company offered. But due to the immaturity level you have attained in the past few weeks, I will decline. I sincerely hope that you take a look at everything that has happened in the past few weeks and make some decisions in your life. None of us are perfect and we all make mistakes. The value of a man's character is what he does when no one else is looking. I was very impressed with the videos and the website for your company. But after your rudeness and comments, your company is not one I will choose to do business with at this time. Maybe I will go to RAHSCO, maybe not. But they have been in business for many many years and are very knowledgeable in the industry and are well respected. Like they mentioned, you need thick skin to be on the bbs's out there, this one is relatively mild compared to a lot of them out there.
Nobody was bashing you or your posts or your company or is it the company that you represent?
The only bashing I have seen is you bashing the contractors (your customers or potential customers or now-non-potential customers) and now you are bashing other vendors.
This is not professional and I doubt that your boss or employer would appreciate the way that you are portraying his business with these attitudes and comments and bashing toward contractors and vendors here.
Maybe someone here that knows your boss or employer should give him a call and let him know what you are doing with the image of his business, I doubt that he would be pleased, I know if I was in his shoes I would not be happy and have a sit-down talk with you and discuss your future with the company and tell you to stop having the little childish hissy-fits on the bbs that the whole world can see.
I would expect a lot more professionalism from someone like a vendor, especially from someone that represents a vendor that is relatively new to this bbs.

Funny how all this started after I announced I was doing this show on my own. You were right Ron the guys on this board sure will team up against a person. Just didn't think it would be you. Mi-T-M does build my skids but they are to my specs to run in an enclosed trailer. This is the same thing I tell any who ask so no big reveal on that front. Anyone who thought I was bashing contractors I am sorry. I was just tired of the UAMCC wars. 95% of you were not involved. For those 95% I welcome your phone calls and emails anytime. Scott please take these listings down. Nothing against the contractors here but I don't need the misery. I can always be found at www.hotandmighty.com

I just see the truth coming out Jim? As far as bashing goes, call it what you want to, Tom was wrong and threw a fit (in my oponion) he didnt like the response he got at first (even though he predicted it) and moved on, now he is back and looks as if some true colors have yet again reared their ugly heads in "no return phone calls" or "bashing distributors" ect....
The thing I love about this board is that we dont follow just any alfa personality, most of us use our own minds and follow or God give instincts.
The way I see it, if it smells like puke, looks like puke ...... well its probably puke! And we just call it like we see it here, funny, we are usually right too.

Everyone makes mistakes, has bad days, says things we regret later, etc. As the old saying goes, Whomever is without sin, cast the first stone. It seems like a lot of us do value Tom D's input. But I do not believe we will tolerate BS. You are right Russ, Tom does need to save face. I believe that can be done by a simple apology and then maybe we can all move on. I also would like Tom to stick around, just hopes he does the right thing.
Tom you called me and said lets do a show together, you also said lets give a prize to people on the BBS. My staff spent a bit of time we announced it in a couple places that I'm now actually obligated to give the prize away. I will give it away thru another fund.
Lets see we welcomed you here, we still welcome you here despite your bashing of us.
I offered free NCE help from the start, you accused me of recording Phone calls because you listened to folks that have gotten caught lying.

I will never do a Show with this company, plus I have asked them to remove the wording cleaning expo from the headline. Its misrepresenting NCE, I will also write a formal letter to Mighty m about this problem. I also want them to know we are not involved.
