I have a 12volt cox reel Im trying to get wired up. Anyone give me some insight on how this is supposed to be done? I know it said something about using a circuit breaker, a solenoid , and a switch?

I have a Titan model. You should just be able to wire it up.

so basically a switch and a fuse? thats it? I found a diagram from cox that said something about a circuit box and a relay?

Depends how heavy the switch is. A small push button switch will have to have a relay to control the motor.

I've got relays, come by tomorrow morning, and I'll get you set up.

Like Russ said, the motors draw a lot of amps so the relay is used to prevent the switch or button from burning up (like what is used on plow relay or a burner). The button will only control the relay to open and close the circuit for the motor. The fuse or circuit breaker is used to protect the motor.
