I tryed pulling trigger on gun even tried dissconecting water and gun still hard to pull I will take another look at it and see .Just seems to pull very hard
One of 2 things. If your carb is leaking, the gas trickles into the cylinder and dead heads against the valves. These won't pull at all until you remove the spark plug and burp the cylinder. MAKE SURE THE SWITCH IS OFF! An unexpected spark will really screw up your day with the gas blowing out the hole. Another possibility is the exhaust valve is adjusted too loose. If that happens, the compression release doesn't open the valve enough to make it easy to pull. One other may be a pump not mounted correctly and binding. Loosen the bolts on your pump if direct drive, and see if it pulls any easier.
Im with Russ on this one. Always turn off the fuel when not in use. Ive had honda engines lock up so tight you had to take out spark plug to releive pressure. Also if it is a leaky carb it will leak past rings and fill up crank case. Then you have to drain oil also. Had one of my guys pull so hard he broke rope. From the school of " If it dont fit force it". Hope this helps.
Thanks to all who answered my post.I did pull plug pulled a few times seemed to pull a lot better after that I used it today worked fine.Hopefully that was all it needed.Again thanks to all.
The last time I saw this problem with a Honda 11hp the valves were out of tolerence and the engine shop fixed it very easily by adjusting the valves. It only took about 10 min.
