Honda Ignition question

GX390 13 hp ( I have to relace the solonoid and ignition switch) I am lost as to where the wires go as I have rigged them up for so long.. I have a wire coming from the engine going to a little brass box and a wire coming out I guess this is the charging wire, then there is a wire coming out of a fitting on the engine block ,it is also tied to the kill wire , ( so this is the oil alert and kill switch, I also have a small wire coming off of the starter ,,, I am lost .. I guess I should have not rigged it up
 
John, I'll scan a wiring diagram in Monday when I get into the office and post it for you. I've got complete starters to fit that engine (Chinese made) for $50 each. I don't know if I've got an ignition switch or not. It'd be genuine Honda and used.
 
Thank You Russ I appreciate the help... I have been sick for about a month .. I got better last week and as luck would have it I had to go out of town and do 9 jobs in 5 days to try and catch up... As soon as I get these bills paid up and some Credit Cards paid down , I am going to get a machine ... I will be dealing with you .. I think I have about had it with this old machine .. It has lasted me a good 7 years.. I cant complain.. I will probably keep it as a second rig ...We'll Talk.. Once again thank you for all the help..

Hey John, where have you been?

Have not seen you posting here in a long time.

I hav been working alot.
I check this board often but looks like the posts in the Machine Problem area are far in between.
I don't post much since I was Demoted from this board.
I got kind of got my fealings hurt when the Russ got the job.
I have been here on this board from day 1 . This section was actually my Idea and the posisition was Jerked out from underneith me when a Virus took out my computer for a couple of weeks.

John, we still like you John.

Russ had nothing to do with your loss of forum. You seemed you didnt care, you even told me you were burned out and spending time on your electric BBS.

Welcome and hope you stick around, good to see your old face.

No drama please, we have had enough of that for the whole year.
 
LOL no Drama here. I am still in the loop as an associate professor. Still have some moderator functions. I'm happy
