High-rises anybody.

Does anyone do high rises at all 12 stories or over? Was just wondering what kind of insurances you have and a ballpark price

What kind of rigging do you use?

Ive done a few, but now cant get the proper insurance to do this kind of work antmore. I used to be able to put a rider on my policy. NO MORE!!

Here's a couple we did, I tried to bid several other but my bids were almost always to high. If I'm hanging from rigging I'm getting paid. The first pics we used a spider basket, off the roof with rolling rig

Anybody do this kind of work, I would like to see some pics and maybe talk to some pro's

This one we did the tower sections on each side and the walkway walls & floors on each floor

The 2 tower sections we just did a gravity wash. We flooded the towers from the roof with building wash mix, then rinsed, all that was on the towers was some black mildew

The other 2 pictures are from the same property it was 5 story building andwe only did a spot cleaning because they were going to be tearing that building down, to put up another high rise

You wouldnt believe the Myrtle Beach area now, they are tearing dozens of smaller hotels down and putting up high rise condo towers. There's cranes all along the Blvd, its crazy

Hmm, I have a couple in the wings to see if they pull the trigger. Fortunately, I have this one crazy guy that works for me that is into working 40 stories up. He use dto build scaffolding for Hi rises without a harness. I do not do well with heights. I will if I have to, but I don't wanna.

Just got a call for a 22 story, I got the job if I want itr, I know the facility Mang well, we'll see what the bids come in at and then i can give him a price. Theres a couple guys around here that do these for cheap money. I hope they dont call them. If Im up high , Im getting paid for it

I agree, its stupid what some of these guys do it for. Ive see the bids on several and Ive been double or more and I thought my price was fair

Not with every Property Manager, but many will tell me because they want the hassle free contractor ....JL !! Whats even better I have many now that try to tell their HOA's just go with us and many projects arent put out for bid at all, Got to LOVE IT!!

I have a guy here in phx that specializes in highrise. I just pick up the phone and collect 10%, i have done them and dont care much for specialized work. lots of dollars, just not a regular thing.

Many window cleaning companys have started doing this work also. mainly because they have a swing stage, Often they have lifts also.

I do not own any of this equipment any longer.

I charge what I want......most of the time......hell I should be making double, but the 1st couple years it was nice to know what the going rates are around here

Plus If its a big job, Id hate to miss out on say a $10,000 project for a couple hundred bucks

Hows things Mel ? You should see Myrtle beach now, they are tearing all the old hotels down on the Blvd and putting up high rises. The Pavilion is getting torn down now, its going to be high end condo/hotels/shops. Theres crans as from one end of the beach to the other.

Homes and condos being built EVERYWHERE
