Hey Kory

Chris and Jill open carry them. The first 100 or so rounds had about 4 ftf each till the mags broke in. Now they each have about 500 rounds through them with zero problems.

9mm ammo is cheap!

He paid 160 each for the guns, brand new, lifetime warranty no matter how many owners they go through.

One guy dremelled his slide down too much and it cracked. They sent him a new one free of charge and a free mag for his trouble. Hows that for service?

And oh yeah, they are a 100% American company.

Kory, I know you may have been still running around in diapers then, but In 1988 I bought the Grendel P10 when it first came out. I bought it with all the accessories and everybody thought I was nuts because it just didn't look right.

It's amazing how much this grandfather to the Kel-Tec 380 look the same. And it only weighed 4 oz more but held 3 more rounds (It did load from the top like the old rifles though, which I didn't mind, I was carrying it for SD anyway)

I'm not a gun person so I don't understand much about this project (below) other than apparently the guys who understand this stuff think it's cool. It's a recent rifle my husband built for fun and a friend wrote a blog on it. I do know that he made the stock from scratch out of a block of walnut -- and I could see the "coolness" of that. Anyway, thought you gun guys might enjoy looking at it. Photos are not very high quality (taken from a phone).

Do you every wish that some one would make something that was different? Well, look no farther than this, because I found different. A custom Mosin Nagant chambered in the venerable .405 Winchester Center Fire. The cartridge was introduced by Winchester in 1904. The pairing of the rifle and cartridge are period correct and makes for a very interesting piece. I know the gunsmith personally, and thought it would be cool to show off some of his projects (and get my blog more traffic).

This project started as a 1898 Russian Mosin Nagant 7.62x54R.
The action, bolt and trigger are all that remain of the original rifle. It’s now a single shot. The magazine was removed to enhance the lines of the “European” style stock and schnabel forend. The stock is American black walnut and the barrel is 26 inches long. The ugly original bolt handle has been replaced by an elegant butter knife bolt handle.

Very Cool 'M.A.Hester' Logo

And it shoots!

Chris' birthday is Tuesday, but we are celebrating his birthday today.

I got him this thing of beauty for his birthday. Now he has something to carry in his back pocket to go along with the holstered 1911 and the two Hi-Points in his front pockets. lol.
