Here's a little idea!!

Myself and the team always wear full PPE, construction site requirements are boots, hard hat, gloves, Hiviz and our requirements are additional ear defenders and waterproof trousers

Now I wear goretex rigger boots which keep the feet dry and the better quality ones are comfortable on the foot, but was sick of the lower half being wet.

Our lances are approx 3 foot plus the trigger so you tend to work under your feet, can't see it being much different over your way. Initially I extended a lance steel with another lance steel to make a seven foot lance but have since been able to source a two metre steel in one piece.

Though awkward for confined areas I have to say that it is now the main lance configuration for all of our works. No more working directly under the feet and when we are elevated, on access equipment we have a much wider reach, with less movement.

Give it a go!!!

You should be able to buy the lances in longer sections like up to 20' and you just need to cut it to length then thread it, then you can make things exactly how long you want. Make sure that the pipe is schedule 80 or an equivalent for out of the USA. I cut my own and thread them when dealing with aluminum but stainless steel is harder to thread.

Most of the vendors here might be able to ship over to you or help you find an overseas vendor.

4, 6, 8, and 10 footers is what I keep on my truck. Rarely ever use the 4 or 6 footer. Everything I do I use the adjustable wand. I do put a little piece of pipe on it between the gun and wand though for a little extra length so I don't have to bend over when doing concrete or the bottom of houses. The little piece of pipe actually comes from the inside of old guns. The 8 and 10 footers get used a lot on 2 story houses.

I like the six footer on fences and it is nice with longer wand that you can stand in one place and swing that baby far and wide. :p I have a ball valve so I can easily change quickly if I need to.

Been away, working on three different supermarkets. It's been a bank holiday over here but no rest for the wicked!!!!!. Clearly you lot over there are more clued up than we are. I don't know anyone else who uses the length of lance that we do!!
