It's been just about 6 months and these are still the best boots I've ever owned. Usually by six months the tread is already wearing down on the back outside of the heel and the insole has gone flat. But these are still doing great.
They have not leaked AT ALL. I did put some of that beezwax stuff on them just in case, but they've never leaked.
You guys don't have to worry about any videos this year with me wearing them with shorts. I don't think I'm going to do the shorts thing anymore.
I think I'm going to go with the "south of the border" coverup method of keeping cool with long pants and long sleeves this year. I met with a competitor who's been on the rooftops for over 30 years and he's got skin cancer all over the place. I don't need that in my old age.
Anyway, these are still the best boots I've ever owned.
