Here comes the hotstepper....or would you wear them.

Tony Shelton

Ok, I finally found a pair of boots that I've been working in over a month that work well.

1) Zero leakage
2) NO strings - easy to get on and off quick
3) First boots in years that I don't come home with sore feet.
4) Can get them at the local Timberland outlet store.

Now, since Jim Gamble has foot and back problems I sent him a link on these boots. He told me that I probably look like a gay leprechaun wearing them. So I asked Chris if they were gay and he agrees adding only that I look like a FAT gay leprechaun.

Would you wear fat gay leprechaun boots for the sake of your feet's happiness?

Or is style more important?

Here they are:

1. zero leakage plus for me
2. they keep the feet happy so there another plus
3. Local so less time driving around looking for footwear that do 1 and 2 for you.
I would say what the hell if they make you feet feel good after 8-12 hours working you feel good I then say what the hell wear them. Tony donnot know the size of you but I built like Ron so if there are shoes out there that keep my feet from screaming like made man then I would wear them.

I'd wear PINK fat gay leprechaun boots if it made my arthritic feet feel better. Even with an occasional ass kicking for wearing them I'd still come out ahead.

Tony IS NOT gay?

I thought I would hear Tom Jones and Neil Diamond in the background when I saw that picture :scratchhead:

It's funny you should say that. I find myself singing Neil Diamond and Tom Jones when I wear them. :yikes:

Tony,

If you feet don't hurt at the end of and long day, It's worth it.

Post a picture

May be they wouldn't be so bad without the buckle?

Ok, I'm satisfied. I'm going to order some more pairs of them. At least until summer, then I'll post more pics of me wearing them with Magnum PI shorts for summer work and see if you guys still say "comfort over fashion". :man_in_love:

I have been a Muck fan for a while now however last week when i found out the dog somehow got a boot through the top of her kennel with the boot torn to shreds and looked for a new pair they were out of the usual pair. I went with these and really like them. They are lighter than the Muck boots and are comfortable without adding insoles into them.

We have a sporting goods store called Academy, I tried on some of that brand hunting boots that were water proof but could not find anything wide, I wear 11eee so it is hard to find shoes and boots, usually have to special order them.

I have been using that brand of black rubber boots (lacrosse) and they are lasting just a couple months now and the store was out of them, I found some at Home Depot in the concrete section that fit ok, hope they will last a while.

I have tried to find the Muck boots here locally to try them on but nobody here carries them, I need to make sure they fit my wide feet before I buy them. hahahahaha

I was going to say that how could they look gay with pants....buuuuutt Tony is now talking about wearing with shorts? (bahahahahahah! ):haha::sarcastic::haha::sarcastic:

The fact that guys are asking about how their shoes look in the first place is what scares me....:secret:

Old skit: friend picking up friend to go bowling, --"Damn Bill, you're not gonna wear that shirt with those shoes are you? It's past Labor Day for chrissake!" -Jeff Foxworthy on guys Fashion Policing each other...

As big as you are, we would never see the shorts. That bothers me...
