Help Needed: Issues with Moving Head Light

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a moving head light for my home stage setup, but I’m having some issues. The light moves, but it seems jittery, and the colors don’t always match the programmed scenes.

I’ve checked the DMX cables and connections, and everything seems fine. I’m not sure if it’s a calibration problem, a faulty fixture, or maybe settings in the controller.

Has anyone experienced similar problems with moving head lights? Any tips for troubleshooting, calibration, or setup would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like your fixture might need recalibration. Try resetting it to its home position, ensure the DMX mode matches your controller, and check for any color calibration settings. The moving head light light may still jitter if the motors or gears are slightly misaligned, or the fixture could be faulty.
