Hey all,
My name is Mike Hasterok, from the HOT desert of Arizona. I started a power washing business on the side of the street to spray people for $5 each to cool them off in the 100+ degree weather (ha, I wish it was that easy!)
I previously worked for a national home builder as a Customer Relations Manager for several years, but was laid off in Dec. 2008. I have wanted my own business for many, many years, and finally dove into it after being laid off. I started doing decorative coatings, which are nice, but too time consuming, and hard to work the mixture in the AZ heat. A few months ago I changed things up, and now offer nice epoxy coatings, int/ext floor paints, and POWER WASHING. So far, I have only done residential power washing, but am now pushing commercial. I run a Hotsy 4.8gpm, 3000 psi pw with a 275 gallon tank, both mounted in the bed of my truck (this is just a start of course).
I am excited to be in this business. This is a great forum. I've already learned alot in just a couple days of joining. I'll definately be back and have some input.
Off to Chilis to meet with the GM!
As always, Have a great day!
