Let me make this simple

Let me make this as simple as possible
IF IT IS WIRELESS, ANYONE ELSE HAS ACCESS TO IT!

This goes for cordless telephones, cell phones, wireless computer networks, baby monitors, walkie talkies, remote video monitors (nanny cams)and the list goes on.
Even though the ECPA Electronic Communications Privacy Act forbids most monitoring and explicitly forbids divulging anything you do hear to third parties it is easily accomplished with a small investment at your local Radio Shack store. In fact you can monitor a whole bunch of stuff including analog cellular phones with an old dial type UHF television.
Of course I wouldn't know, but can imagine that with a programable scanner with a few modifications and your own neighborhood might be more entertaining than prime time on the old TV!

If its private and you want to keep it private, don't use radio frequencies.
