Has Anyone Ever Been Pleasantly Surprised by a Bestseller Kit?

I usually avoid buying anything just because it's labeled as a bestseller, but this weekend I made an exception. I wanted a new paint by numbers project after finishing the last one, and instead of spending another hour comparing dozens of designs, I opened the bestseller collection on most popular paint by numbers kits. It actually made choosing much easier because I wasn't trying to evaluate hundreds of paintings one by one. I ended up bookmarking a couple that I genuinely liked rather than just picking the first thing I saw. Has anyone here ordered from a bestseller collection before? I'm wondering if those kits really stand out or if they simply get the most attention because they're featured.

I used to think the same thing until I ordered one last autumn. My plan was just to have something relaxing to do during the colder evenings, and I didn't care too much about the subject. Since I couldn't decide, I picked one from the bestseller section almost at random. What surprised me wasn't that the painting was somehow "better" than the others—it was that the overall experience felt really balanced. The color palette was enjoyable, the level of detail kept me interested without becoming frustrating, and the finished picture actually looked great once it was framed.
