Looking to buy a fire nozzle:
that will pass 100 gallons per minute @ 110 psi pressure for rinsing (1 1/2 inches maybe 2 inch)

found a lot of them for 300-500 dollars........................ looking for less than a 100 dollars

this is a picture of the pump I would be using.

I would go to a fire station and ask them where they buy theirs. Maybe you will luck out and they will have a old one sitting around they will let you just have. It might cost you a few pizzas but it's worth a shot.

Dultmier sales probaly has one

David,
I agree with Vince but never had luck with it. The FD around here will not sell you anything of theirs...even if they dont use it. Are you looking for just the nozzle? or the hoses too. The nozzles I believe were around $26 at Darley. They are the twist nozzles. They do have a variety of ones to look at it and it really depends on what you want to use it for....good luck

Or ask them if they have an old fire engine for sale like the one that was converted in the Cleaner Times Magazine! LOL!

Go to a big sprinkler/ fire suppresion supply/ installer. The fire hoses that you see on the walls of buildings have an expiration date on them and need to get replaced. Sprinkler companies have pallets of these hoses... never used. I got 5-100' lengths that come with the plastic twist nozzles. I got all of it for free.

I got a question for ya though.... why do you need that machine? why not hook straight to the hydrant with your meter? You gotta hook up to the hydrant anyways to supply it.

Florin,

I think David is doing what I did on my 16ft trailer. I have 2 tanks on that trailer that are 550 gallons each...(I know more weight than the trailer can hold) but I fill the tanks once and drive past the area of rinse....Not all areas will have a hydrant mind you. So fill up close by and drive.

I will say I think I have a bigger version of what Davids pic was and I put PVC pipe on the end...around 2 foot long and put an end cap on....I then sliced the end cap (to look like a wand tip/ slatted). When I start it up The spray is around 25-30 gallons a minute and 20 ft wide....

Gotcha. I have not ran into the job that does no have a hydrant close by yet.

I am in the works of experimenting trying to split off of a fire hose end and go to two 3/4 supply hoses and to use the hoses as rinsers. Easier to manage than a fire hose but greater rinse than a PW. Just not sure if I can get enough high flow with that setup to rinse a 3 story.

300-500 foot drive thrus plus parking spaces about 5000-7000 sq feet not counting flat work around buildings and not counting any/if patios

intial cleans (5.5 /3500psi alkota hot) 3-4 hours cleaning plus 2 hour rinsing

no hydrants 100gallans per minute at 110 psi should cut down on rinsing time (maybe?) 2 tanks 500 each 1000 gallons total approx

florin call me tomorrow /or anytime.... be happy to discuss short answer 54 gallons per minute submerisable pump (have 2 ) 7000 watt generator ..and although 100 gallons per minute at 110 psi 10 minute total 1000 gallons ..I would expect only 20-30 seconds burst at any given time ....in all fairness I have not done this yet it just what I expect will happen when I do this ....oh and 20 foot car hauler 7000 lbs axles...I dont have all the answers...need to buy the fire nozzle and hose first
