This project has been hanging around for a couple of months, and finally ready to tackle it again. Owner had to pave the road in front of their home to keep the dust down, now thats done, so we've to to give it a final wash.
First issue I've had ( and solved) is with the "clinginess" of the road dust on the siding. Pressure alone won't remove it, it takes a manual brushing to remove the haze.
Now the pressing problem is with the hundreds of grout splatters & smears left by a sloppy paver contractor. Any ideas on the best way to remove them? Pressure, soap, and brushing proved to be fairly ineffective against them.
Material is a color impregnated (not painted) Hardi type material. Builder would like to avoid touch-up painting if possible since this is a non-painted surface. I would like to avoid pigment damage to the siding. This one has got me scratching my head.
