Hammerhead Surface Cleaner

The Hammerhead has a max temp rating of 180 deg F. Thanks again for the question! Lori

$315 for a NEW 20" Hammerhead! Email me or call me if interested.

I'm pretty sure thats at Northern all the time cheap

You can find them somtimes on sale for 350.00, but they are usually 399.00 at Northern - the absolute worst place to buy anything.

Lori, did you get my email? I tried sending you a PM, but it seems like your box is full.

Mine is still kickin tail I have had it for about four or five months 20-30hrs a week at 180deg and not a problem

Kory, is this the same HH that you were saying you had to repair already?

I am just wondering, in general, do SC's need to be repaired often?

Sunshine, you get what you pay for. $300 or so bucks for a surface cleaner and you will be rebuilding it. I bought one this summer to try it, used it once and gave it away to one of the guys on PTState. They weigh a ton, the gun is built into the handle so you have to use a ballvalve to be able to disconnect it to rinse, as opposed to just unplugging the gun. If you are on a budget and don't clean a lot of concrete, go for it. If you can afford to buy one that you don't have to rebuild often and last for ever, get an Eagle wash. I have a half dozen and have replaced 2 swivels in the last 10 years or so.
The 20" list for $1200.50 with Pressure Pro, but any distrubuter can get them for you for around 600 or 700.

Yes, it is but I had to do it because on of my guy bending the bar(hit a cinder block) and the bent bar messing up the Barrings. I go thru barrings and seals on my Whisper every 3-6 months and thats over 200 bucks each time on each one( I have 3!)$$$$$$$$$ Is there a little dude that pisses Money it would be appropriate here?

I fogot to add this my classic decks always become a funny shape because they warp! The hammerhead no prob. I also get less over lap with the HH. Am I saying this is the best SC ever NO but for the guy on the fence about buying a classic for 700 bucks or a 20'' HH for 315 I say go for the HH. 1. it costs less! 2. repair kits are easy and cheaper!

I have had mine for quite some time now and it runs circles around any other SC I've ever owned and I do clean a lot of Concrete. Mine is an 18in and doesn't weigh hardly anything. As a matter of fact It just about wants to come off the ground when I have it running with my 4k 4gpm machine. For what they cost you could almost by 4 off them verses one expensive one.

You might want to think about retrofitting a BE swivel and Mosmatic spray bar on it. I have a customer who did that to 2 Big Guys and he has no more problems.

what is better about the Mosmatic spray bar?

Also my whisper wash swivels last 4 to 5 times as long as the BE's we have had in the past.

Russ, I have an old metal mosmatic with the funky, skinny spray bar. Bump it one time against the curb and you have bought it. I am pretty sure my eagle washes use whisper wash swivels. I love 'em.
