Hello everyone my name is John. I am in need of some advise. I tried to clean some gutters for a customer and the gutters had (shingle oil) or something to that effect that has stained the gutters with black streaks. The house is only three years old but it looks like his gutters stopped up and what ever chemicals are on the shingles stained the gutters. Bleach will not get it. Any advise to get this in a cost effencient manner. Thanks for the help.
 
i use a solution containing NaOH applied with a pneumatic sprayer or manually with an extendable handle with a synthetic bristle array attached firmly on the end- allowing light to moderate agitation. When using this method, the applicator must not agitate too vigorously causing the pigmented finish to weaken and fail. I then proceed to rinse with light pressure using the TJ-3000.

There are alot of questions that are asked over and over and over, and you usually wont get a good response. This is because people get tired of answering the same questions.

Thanks guys I see that some pressure cleaning companies are using gutter zap at about a two to one part mix. Does this stuff work? I also past a bottle of Krudd Kutter in Walmart so I will try that also. Thanks
 
I use Gutter Zap from Xterior 1-800-XTERIOR

Yup & Yup
There still in NC, Mike the owner of Xterior & inventor of the Xjet has had some very serious health issues and side effects from prescribed medicines. I hear he is doing better I talked to his wife he's been through a lot and i actually talked to Mike a month or so ago. He doesn't complain and still working the biz.

There a nice bunch of folks over there. Ron Strickland works semi retirement there and he was a great help to me when I 1st started out. He pointed me to these BBs and Xterior was there for me in the beginning
