That's a nice idea but that gum does not look typical of the gum I run across. Most of the gum I run across is black smeared in and looks like it's been there for years.

Us too. I put the Gum Blaster in the same order as the "Garden Weasel" and "Vegamatic".
 
At least that Whirl-Away is built fairly heavy and seems like it may hold up

Whirl A Way is definitely one of the best "bang for the buck" surface cleaners out there.

I'm leery of any piece of professional equipment that is made out of bright blue and red plastic.
