Got Recovery?

Touching on a hot topic, I feel the need to share the detention of a fellow washer. Booyaa (Chuck) has been cited by both the County and the State EPA for failure to collect his wash water.(2 stepping) These fines are in the many thousands of dollars and he is unable to pay.
Chuck has been remanded by the County, after turning himself in, and will now serve the time to pay his fines. Currently the County offers $71.00 per day of served time and his fines are nearly $15,000 dollars. He will be in for about 211 days.
Got recovery?

That sucks for him. I just picked up a recovery system for a very low price. I keep a lookout for more and offer them here.
Maybe we should take up a collection for him so he can get out a little earlier. What state and county is he in?

Alan are you serious about Chuck? No wonder I have not heard from him.

What I don't understand is usually the first time it is a written warning at most and the second time a small fine of around $2000. so how come he got nailed big time first time around?

Email me where he is locked up, might take a drive and visit the poor guy!

Scott are you aware your buddy is locked up?

Who is doing his accounts while he is not able to?

I am surprised that Alan wrote this, although I know he did it with Chucks approval. Chuck told me that he was a bit embarrassed by the whole incident, but, he obviously wants everyone to learn from his bitter experience. I am trying to help him out as much as I can, so I sent my Number one guy over to run his crew for him. I know how to contact him, and get messages to him, so if you want to let him know you're concerned, then I can forward any messages to him. He said that he is embarassed enough to only want minimal contact with others. BTW, he had received a couple of warnings, and was workig on a recovery system.

That just sucks Scott. Hopefully you all will be able to keep things going for him. 200 or more days in jail would be horrible and I can see why it would be embarassing.

If there is anything any of us can do, just let us know. I don't know the guy all that well but I'd contribute what I can towards getting him out and back at his business. This has got to be a bitter pill to swallow for anyone.

Scott, keep us abreast and if there is anything we all can do to help, just post it.

So, Alan and Jon, wanna do that Hollywood job without recovery?????

Alan,

No, these guys move like molasses. But at least they take a long time to pay! I'm out of town for the next 2 weeks but will have a laptop so I can continue to screw with everyone here. If I hear anything, I'll have my secretary call Jon

Barry you know we would be doing it with RECOVERY.. oh wait we could let it run down the storm drains and blame it on you as the main contractor and wash our hands of it!

Would that work?

Slow pay you say, 24% interest daily should cover that and in cash!

This secretary, that cute young girl in the office? hmmm

Enjoy your trip. We stand ready when you get the ok to do it.

Jon

Chuck has recently been released from jail. It boils down to some saber rattling, because he was warned, and repeatedly refused to get the recycling equipment that was requested for some of his jobs.
The agreement was as follows:
He will purchase the required equipment within 30 days. (This has already been done)
He will pay a small fine.
All future washing will be done in an environmentally friendly way
He is subject to periodic site inspections.
This agreement, which in my opinion was negotiated by his attorney. He did have recovery equipment out, but someone deemed that it was not adequate, and thus the big hoolabaloo.

I for one am glad, I need my guy back

Interesting.

I think recovery is a very good thing.

Oops, biased opinion. ;)
