Good bllower w/ vaccuum

Your right Chris. I'm not just looking for a blower that s*cks. I'm looking for a blower that will work it's way around and s*ck in all the right places. Nooks, crannies, up top if needed and especially around the bottom. Most blowers are fine just blowing, but make them go down deep and that's where they fall short.

But it's hard to find one that has what it takes to do those kinds of tricks. I need one that's really flexible. I need one that's reliable, long lasting and most of all cheap. This blower has to have a large diameter mouth too. And it needs to be tough so it swallows the debris and never spits it back out in my direction. That could be dangerous. You could lose an eye like that.

Condenser cleaning is a dirty business. I need a blower/vac that's willing to get down and dirty and do what it takes.

Chris, where can I get one like that....?:)

WOW! I think I just got turned on! :p

Well, after searching the internet for a while I can't find exactly what I'm looking for. I will probably end up rigging something together like Chris said to make a flex hose to reach inside the units. Maybe I'll use the old tried and true method of buying something cheap, finding out in about ten minutes that it's not going to work, then selling it 5 years later at a yard sale. :D

Ok, that is a lot of requirements, lets examine what you are looking for.

You need one with a mouth that sucks hard and can blow because sometimes you need to have both done at the same place, sometimes at the same time.

It will not be good if it can't get down into those nooks and crannies, it just really needs to go down without forcing it but sometimes you have to in order to get the job done and end up happy. Nothing worse that having a blower fall short of expectations, especially when there is an audience or important people waiting for that sucker to start sucking hard and get the job done right.

It is nice when they are flexible, but still can do the basic job of sucking up every bit and not dropping any, that would be a mess to be cleaned up again. I agree, it needs to have a big mouth so it can suck up every bit and not spit it out, that could cause a tripping hazard or worse, spit it into someone's eye and cause more downtime getting another blower to do the job right the first time.

I am looking for a new blower/vac also. The last one choked on a load too hard and died, hard to find a good blower that can handle large things and not get overwhelmed or choke.

I agree, condensor cleaning is a dirty job, you need the right tools for the job so you can get it done, you don't need a blower that drops rocks off back into the pan, you need a blower that sucks hard, keeps it in and does not let any drip or fall out or you have to start the job over and worse, for the same money. No money changes hands until the job is done the right way and everyone is happy. Nothing worse than a blower that does a half-assed job and that is all they have to do.

I threw the old blow away today in the trash, took up a lot of that 96 gallon trash can. hahahahahaha

I will be looking for a new blower and will measure the mouth to see if my tool will fit, I am thinking of making the large hose adapt to the mouth of the blower or vacuum port so it can suck down deep into the condensor pans whether they are 2' down or 4' down.

I am suprised that nobody has thought of something like this before?

Maybe some company has but it is a liability issue somehow?

Maybe the vacuum or blower would be used for the wrong purpose? hahaha

I think that the 2" vacuum hose can adapt to the blower/vac. That hose is around $2.00 to $3.00 per foot. Just might need some adapters.
