Good bllower w/ vaccuum

My Stihl blowers have been great. Will blow the snot out of Craftsman, etc. Not sure anything in this league will have enough power to suck leaves out of a condenser though.

I'm just talking about the loose leaves in the bottom of a residential condenser. I don't even need the vacuum bag, I just need to suck them out and blow them away from the scene.

I know the Stihl ones are good, but I haven't seen one with a vacuum/mulcher. Ideally it would have metal fins that won't get chewed up if I pull out something like a rock. Also, a flexible vacuum tube like the flexible blower tubes the backpack blowers have would also come in handy.

I'm looking for a good lightweight gas blower that we can use for blowing off concrete, with a vac attachment to suck leaves out of ground level condensers.

Any Suggestions?

Wait a minute... did I read this correctly....

TONY NEEDS A VAC ?

Tony wants a Blower to blow off the dust?

Well if that is not the first step in reclamation, I don't know what is.

In fact, thats what Cal EPA wants us to do before we pressure wash.

Well I'll be.... Tony is going into the reclamation business !!!!:D:D:D

LOL LOL LOL I mean LOTS OF LAUGHS. Those dam Nevada Republicans, always trying to get one up on California

The blower is for breaking up chunks of debris so they go down the storm drain easier.....

I like the looks of this one.

I was kindof hoping not to have to put the bag on there, but I guess it might be a good idea to dump it in the trash anyway instead of mulching it and blowing it from the scene. I have used an older Craftsman, but it's on it's last leg.

A vac makes quick work of stuff like this:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/TyZnegY8Efs&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/TyZnegY8Efs&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

I had a regular Homelite that was just a blower and it crapped out on a job a couple weeks ago, I will be looking for a new blower/vac.

Preferrably a gas unit so no looking for outlets all the time.

That one at Lowe's looks good.

I just bought a Makita from HD this afternoon. It was on sale from $169.00 down to $129.00 I got that last one. It was the floor model. 4cycle. I don't have to mix any oil in with the gas.

I came very close to getting the Echo today but I couldn't pass up the price on the Makita.

I can't get the Makita, manual says use it upright. You can turn a 2 stroke upside down and it will still run.

Tony, you could get some 2" vacuum hose and rig it so you can just have the leaf blower sitting on top of the condensor and use the hose on the inside getting the leaves or enough hose you can just leave it on the ground, that would be cool!

I have not seen any that do that, I wonder if any have kits you can get to do that?

Your right Chris. I'm not just looking for a blower that s*cks. I'm looking for a blower that will work it's way around and s*ck in all the right places. Nooks, crannies, up top if needed and especially around the bottom. Most blowers are fine just blowing, but make them go down deep and that's where they fall short.

But it's hard to find one that has what it takes to do those kinds of tricks. I need one that's really flexible. I need one that's reliable, long lasting and most of all cheap. This blower has to have a large diameter mouth too. And it needs to be tough so it swallows the debris and never spits it back out in my direction. That could be dangerous. You could lose an eye like that.

Condenser cleaning is a dirty business. I need a blower/vac that's willing to get down and dirty and do what it takes.

Chris, where can I get one like that....?:)
