House wash mix doesnt touch the soot buildup on the canopies. You need cleansol B/C that cuts it and off it comes. 2 stepping over head NO THANKS!

I think a two step would be a good idea. Im sure spraying straight up was not the idea. Spraying up with a nice 45 degree agle working from one side to the other. The ground water ph would be around 7 and the acid would hopefully loosen up the soot and dirt combo and the soap if u use a strong soap like a good truck wash it might come clean or at least clean enough. Too bad you couldnt find a really good non caustic environmentally friendly degreaser.

I have a customer who would like a mold inhibitor applied to his canopies after washing. I have plexmaster, from envirospec, on-hand. Would this work on a ceiling? Or what product would you guys suggest?Thanks!

I have cleaned quite a few of these and we just use a strong house wash, just like the other guys said. Thats mildew in those pictures, Soot staining would not be a nice even coverage like that. Nice and easy and will look brand new.

Quite a varying price range I have heard, from 400 to over 1500.

get all you can and go from there. If a foreigner start at 1500 and youll settle for 400. A local you should be able to get 450+ depending upon how large

I heard of a canopy covering 8 pumps for 1K in my area, but I am not sure if that included the light fixtures cleaning and gutters too.

A good foaming detergent or additive would be great.

I would have to charge $2000.00 per station if we did what they do, I cant believe that they wand everything.

Two trucks and 5 or 6 guys would be like 3 grand and they better do at least two stores a night. a surface cleaner would knock 2 hours and one guy off of that job.

I agree about using a surface cleaner and the pricing. Great video though. Good luck finding someone in our area willing to pay for quality like that.

I wonder about the surface cleaners in some situations, for example a side walk 3.5 ft wide and 40 ft long with bubble gum. Sometimes the guy on the wand is as faster than surface cleaner, you would have to disconnect get the gum and then rinse, if the man on the gun is working with gravity he is cleaning rinsing and popping gum all in on pass. (i guess an experienced operator would know best, i know I cant do the wand thing, worse yet with 8 gpm and 1/2 hose).
