Diesel hit 3.99 gal here yesterday
 
I'm going to get the machine on my truck finally up and running next week and putting the trailer in storage for now. I saw diesel hit $4.09 a gallon here yesterday and decided it's about time to do something to increase fuel mileage.
 
Diesel 7am--$3.47--3pm--$3.71 Sarasota Florida 2/24/2011---and the closer you get to the interstate the worse it gets. just bought 1500 gallons to hedge price, bought DELIVERED for $3.40

I remember when $10 would get you 40 gallons. ;). Shoot, it wasn't ten years ago that ten would get you ten.

We need to start raising some hell like they did in Egypt. Our goverment does not care that people are hurting. The puss president does not have the cods to do anything about it.
No independant truckers left to shut the trucks down and let the produce spoil.
Sur charges are added to freight bills and we go on or merry way. It sucks!
 
Are any of you guys having to raise your prices yet, due to the higher fuel prices?

We used to get "off road" fuel, but drive all new vehicles so they all need ultra low sulpher.

And by the way, if you get your tank dipped and it comes up red, you will not only be super fined, but red tagged, which means you go no where till the tow truck comes and gets you, if they don't impound it till your court date. And oh yea, they can also seize your truck because it is used in the commision of a felony. Now thats something your "bussiness" consultant / coach will not tell you...huh

You can apply for a tax rebate for the fuel that is used in your burners or any thing that is not used on the roads. There also Federal programs that can help you re coup the cost of the taxes on off road fuel.

Look around....
