Gas Prices @ $2.09 in NJ- Boom

BUMP

$1.69 in NJ Today!!!!!!!!!

Wish i could buy it and store it somewhere.lol
Paid $1.69.9/ Litre here in New Zealand today. Costs about $25.00 NZD less to fill the car up. $15.00 NZD to fill my bike have paid up to $22.00 NZD in the past.

We are finally below $1.95 per gallon down here and we have 3 large refineries here, last week we were the only medium/large city in Texas not below $2.00 per gallon. It will be nice as long as it lasts, they say it will go up to over $4.00 per gallon when it goes up, I sure hope it does not get that high.

It'll go up commiserate to the price per barrel. It would have to be in the $150+ per barrel range for that to happen again, and there's just far too much oil being explored and extracted for that to happen any time soon. OPEC would have to severely restrict their supply, which they won't, or domestic shale would have to go completely bust, which it won't. As the small players go bankrupt the big guys will buy up the real estate cheap and continue the shale exploration.

I don't see $4 gas for a long long time.

As much as the US has "discovered" new oil in parts of the west and as a country we have decreased consumption the problem is the 3rd world countries and China continue to increase in consumption which effects us all

China and the far east have slowed economically a bit which but it wont last

OPEC is controlled by countries the US gives aid to yet they control our fate

We can never produce enough oil to be free of OPEC

I think other markets slowing say it all.

Yes-The thirst for these growing 3rd world nations and the far east will keep OPEC afloat-they've increased consumption at an alarming rate though they have cooled off recently. We've dropped our oil import consumption by 10-15%

This is just a hiccup for us- a nice break

We need to have more of a say with OPEC as we give aid to every single one of them that comprises them and in reality they dictate our fate
