Hey Guys where is a good source for gas line quick connects and safety chains for gas fed equipment?
Alot of the places I come across have antiquated gas feeds.
On occasion when pulling equipment from the wall the old "Pig Tails" start hissing and the familiar smell of natural gas is in the air.
We dont actively pursue this kind of maintinance but if something isnt functioning properly or is dangerous to operate then we fix it before they fire up again.
Safety chains- Most of them I see are small link chain or wire cable.
Thought maybe it would be a good idea to keep some of the heavy cable with me and some cable links to repair these on site rather then going to the nearest hardware store.
I like the heavy quick connect gas lines. They make it nice to move stuff around.
Used to keep an assortment of drive belts for the fans on hand but there are so many different applications its almost easier to take of the old one and go match it up.
