Garage Cleaning Techniques - Post Them!

I have seen the cyclone in action, its impressive but look out as far as cost go, who fixes those things? also in a garage with low heights and lots of posts it would not work well, too many missed areas and not a very good sightline for getting close to walls. I think it would be tough to use on the majority of jobs.

We wash around the pillars and outer walls immediately after the sweeper goes through. By doing this the ground is pretty dry before the scrubber does it's thing. The less water it needs to pickup the better. I run both machines and the helper does the washing and loading of the trailers. Trust me I'm all about power washing but these machines make our lives so much easier.

I am a sponsor of the Houston event but unfortunately not able to attend as something came up. I'll have some giveaways there. Have fun and learn lots!

Mike do you float both machines on one trailer or you have to send two floats to each job, we have a hard enough time finding a staging area on our downtown Toronto jobs, my parking tickets could pay for a cruise for my wife and I each year!

I am currently having trailer fab done 68" x 10" deck, built in racks and storage for propane and tools, brooms, blower etc. But I can only put one machine on it. Its tough to find guys to drive my floats in the city, I had a buddy practically have a nervous breakdown on me one day over it.

If you have pics and are willing to show, that would be great! Thanks

Parking isn't really a big issue here for the most part. We use enclosed trailers and have a wash setup in the back of one of the trucks that pulls it. We just bought a new enclose air tow trailer which should be a lot better than dealing with ramps and scrubbers. Air tow makes a nice little 12 ft open one as well. Drive right inside and drop it there.

They're really heavy relative to their size. How much$?

I bought the biggest enclosed one they made and added every option to it and I think it was about 18k. I think the open air ones are around 12K. I'll be using mine to deliver chemicals and equipment in as well. I can literally drive the forklift and a pallet in and unload it at the customers location.

Take short breaks but don't sit down and watch your favorite TV show, otherwise you never get done with the job. Put the stuff you want in a safe place where it won't get damaged. Throw anything away that you don't need anymore. Keep only the necessary objects and get rid of all the rest. Great tips !
