funding/loan

does anybody now were you can get a short loan or funding . To do work until you get paid and etc
 
Hey Marc--Pretty much what we have been doing since last year is on larger jobs we are getting up to 50% up front. This is for Commercial work. We do have some on going monthly accounts which are different since we've been doing them for years but on those jobs that are in the many thousands such as parking garage, Buildings etc. Its no longer a handshake or a sign contract. Its the above and like I said 50% down.

Don't be stuck with a loan to get you thru these jobs because if the company doesn't pay you--you now have another NUT to take care of.
Being stiffed some the last couple of years this is my hard core approach. Others may think differently.....

I have never required money up front, but I also have a different type of customer, so that I usually am assured of getting paid. I think I have gotten screwed one time in the last bunch of years by one of my core customers. They more then made up for it the next wash I did.
