FREE HATS today for anyone with a Positive Blog!!!!

About 4 days ago I was doing a home, Roof to driveway. This house was dirty, I mean DIRTY. I started with the roof. I am a one man operation so when my PW shut down I just about blew a gasket. I tried to rent a PW but no one had one available. I had to go home and get my 2.5GPM machine to finish the job. Holy crap. I love it for KEC but not for house washing. I could of rinsed it faster with a pump sprayer. Either way I was determined to finish the job. I stayed till dark to get the job done. The homeowners needed it done for the next day. My customers are county 911 dispatchers. They not only gave me a good reference but they gave me a $100.00 tip. It was a nice experience,

I would like to thank Ron for another 9 properties from yet another property management company this week.

I was unable to navigate the world of property management prior to meeting Ron.

His sales techniques will work for any type of service business.

I also want to thank a fellow coil cleaner Tom Cusick for constantly innovating and coming up with some techniques we use every day.

I want to thank the guys I met on here who are doing coil cleaning and filter service in other states with us. It is refreshing to know guys who will work on a handshake and the idea of ripping someone off never crosses their mind.

I need to thank Russ, Paul and Jerry for helping me when having equipment down could mean losing a job.

I need to thank Carlos Gonzales who taught me that there are still men out there who make mistakes and have the character to pick themselves up, face them, and move on rather than running from them.

And thanks to guys like Doug Rucker, Scott Stone, Ron and Larry Millette I have guys to talk to when I make mistakes and to keep me on the straight and narrow.

Thanks to everyone on PWI. I never got involved with any boards before this. I was a lone ranger. Now I have found a group of entrepreneurs with the same kind of drive and determination I have without the constant jealousy and suspicion that plagues most industries.

Thank you!

Thank you Jay Rissler from Fullblast Pressure Washing. Jay referred me to a Chick-fil-a in my area and gave me a good recommendation. This helped me land a cleaning contract for this place. Jay is a stand-up man with great ethics and outlook on life and business.

Welcome to the BBS
Here is something nice.

I want to thank Jerry McMillan at PressureWasher.net, Cleaning Systems Specialists, for installing my custom wash and water recovery system in my 2007 Izusu truck with an aluminum floor, a Interlift brand lift gate, and a 20,000 payload. I also want to thank Keith at KBK GRAPHX for designing the wrap for the truck. It is a rolling billboard that advertises my company's image and capabilities. The wrap was installed by Wonderland Signs in Redding, Ca.

The wash equipment installed in my truck consists of 2 each 7gpm, 4000 psi pumps with an approximately 43 Hp Kubota Diesel engine and 2 large water heaters, 2 electric pressure reels, and an electric supply hose reel. I have 2 each, 21 inch surface cleaners, and 1 bad to the bone 30 inch surface cleaner. The 30 inch surface cleaner gives me the ability for making very quick work of cleaning flat surfaces with 14 gpm of hot water and water recovery when needed.

My recovery system has the another of the same Kubota 43 HP engine, a Tuthill blower for vacuum, with 2 sand trap, and 2 pump out tanks, and an electric vacuum hose reel. I can carry 550 gallons of water and can recover and filter the water in a oil/water separator, then filter in 2 other filter units and recycle the water in a 220 gallon tank, or dispose of the water according to local regulations.

Jerry has helped me start my business and Keith put up with me when I made changes to the graphic design of the truck. Both have been patient with me and completed their jobs in a manner that deserves my thanks.

i will be at the event in San Diego in October with my truck if anyone wishes to see a truly custom cleaning unit. I will post pictures of the system in the near future when I figure out how to post the pics from my Ipad.

I'm thankful I still have a business to run. When the economy tanked we lost about $70k in annual contracts and from 2010 to present we have been stiffed for approx. $27k more. I still have a great core group of customers that have been with us for years. We aren't the biggest money makers, but we keep moving forward.

Im thankful that this business has helped me let my wife stay home and raise our children for the last 20 years. Pwi has been there most of the way people have come and gone but there has always been answers to questions. Before I got on this board I didn't have any friends in the pressure cleaning field now I network with other contractors on a weekly basis.

Well I am fairly new here but I would like to thank all the guys here and at FleetWash Academy. They have answered my questions as I am thinking about venturing into fleetwashing. One fine fellow has offered to let me come down and ride along with him in his fleetwashing business to get a feel for the ropes. Trying to make that happen now. Not many guys out there like that anymore. So thanks everyone here and there.

During the UAMCC issue years ago I might have been rude to Carlos as I am very passionate about this industry and I will protect what I do from anyone or anything that tries to jeopardize my income and how I take care of my son, for that I just wanted to apologize to Carlos for things I said or implied back then as it was a crazy time for everyone with what was going on. Carlos, I am sorry for things I said and did.

Carlos is a great asset to this industry and a good person, thanks for what you do Carlos.

I wanted to thank the many vendors that help me with questions, help me with purchases as sometimes I am about to purchase the wrong thing or too much for the job to be safe and then I would end up with extra stuff at the shop (I am doing better at not having too much stuff in the shop these days) and for the vendor's experience as there are many vendors out there that will not go the extra mile or have the knowledge to help some of us when in those unique situations that nobody has heard of or when the economy hits us hard in the wallet and things are tough every which way you look.

Thanks Russ J. at Southside Equipment, Paul K. at the PowerWashStore, Brad Jarman at Midwest Cleaning Solutions, Blaine at Bioclean Systems and anyone I forgot, thank you for everything you do to help my business, thanks for the knowledge and experience and thanks for just being who you guys are as it means a lot to me and my son.

Thanks also to my many friends here and on the other forums, many great people I have met over many years on the forums and at the events all around the country, too many of you guys to thank by names (I am bad with names a lot of times) but I just wanted to thank all of you guys and ladies out there that are nice to talk to in person or on the forums, it is really nice that so many of us have the similar business interest in this industry and want to grow our businesses. I have met so many great people at the events, had great times, got to see many great places around the country when I go and a few of them I even took my son so he could get out of town for a short while.

Thanks Everyone!
