Free Demos

I would like to know as well...Several of the bank drive through are in dire need of cleaning. My local bank used a PW who used a wan and made a mess of the sidewalk. I approached the branch manager and she indicated that it was not a priority and were willing to live with inferior work. How about that?

A janitorial house has them. $65. ( quarterly)
This is for 4 lanes and the sidewalk. I walked away.

Wow.... sounds almost as bad as the $85 (2000 sqft)roof cleaner in my area.

So I guess that Demos are not advantageous given the return or maybe aggravation.

Demo's are very effective and a great selling tool. Don't listen to people that say otherwise.

You'll figure out that some places are not worth your demo time though because they would never buy anyway.

Alright...I will do a bunch this week as work has been real slow. I know what you mean about some places not wanting our services. Maybe I should have lunch at Apple Bee and then talk to the manager before doing a demo. Break the ice and not cold call..They always seem to hang up or very uninterested when cold calling.
 
personally, i have not found cold calling to be effective with food locations
 
I have my best luck when cold calling Restaurants very early in the morning. I always ask for the General Manager. If one of the other staff answer the phone they almost always put one of the managers on the phone right away without asking too many questions.

I NEVER call any Restaurant during their busy hours such as between 11:00 and 2:00 and during their dinner rush, etc...
