Free Demo Leads to Several Jobs!

I was finally able to do a free demo for a property manager on a very dirty side of a condo building about 2 weeks ago. The property manager, the PM company owner along with 3 other board members of the PM firm all showed up to watch this demo. I thought I was doing a demo for 1 person and ended up being for 5. Mixed up a gallon of my house wash detergent mixed with bleach then rinsed down the vegetation. Soaped up the side, windows, soffits and gutter. Waited 5-10 minutes then rinsed everything down well. As expected, it all cleaned up perfectly! My audience loved seeing the process and apparently were impressed at the care I took for the landscaping. They just gave me that 5 building job, another 10 building job, and I just provided them with an estimate for a large 12 building townhome complex (82 townhomes) including concrete.

This was one of the larger PM companies that I have been sending letters and emails to for 2 years and I was finally able to get in front of them for a free demo. This gives me a lot of confidence to keep trying to get in front of the rest of the PM firms around here that seem to keep ignoring me!!!! KEEP CALLING THOSE PROPERTY MANAGERS!!! I am now booked through the end of May. I also find out tomorrow if I get to keep the county school contract for the additional 2 year option (which I expect will happen). I think it time to buy a second machine and hire my first employee!

:happydance:Thats great, good follow up. You hiring:woot:

I knew you were Ron. I learned this from you at the 2009 Tampa RT. In fact, that one free demo has led to 6 condo complexes from this one property management firm!!

This is a great thread.

After listening to some of Ron's advice and looking further into other avenues of income in this business, I FIRMLY believe in demo's.

I can talk my mouth off until I'm blue in the face, but people react more with photo's... even more with video's...

EVEN MORE in person.

Kudos to you guys.
