Franchise

Has anyone franchise their business. I'm close to selling a franchise in the St. Louis & Memphis area. Just wondering if anyone had any input based on experience or reading, etc. I've research it, received attorney advice, the whole 9 yards - but would like some first hand experience on it. Its a big step, trying to get all the information possible. Theres an outside chance of selling a franchise package to guy in Chicago - After all the trips, that I've made there - do good to break even. haha

Tim, You would need to call me. The only place Higher than Il. for frachising is CA. You will need to check the frachise licensing in each state. Call Everett because he currently Knows the Prices since he is currently franchising.

I have not for years and no longer have any.

Thanks a lot..

Going pretty good - lots of legal. The guy in Memphis looks to be a go. The guy in St. Louis is having finance problems. Chicago never happen - I can't seem to get the accounts set-up in the windy city. Tried mail-outs and phone calls - nothing compares to face to face communication. St. Louis and Memphis - I was able to make trips and actually meet face to face with the customer. So the wind was taken out of my sails - time to get a paddle and row. Not all is a lost - I've developed a marketing plan (formula) for going into an area and getting accounts - Its just of matter of finding the right person. I plan to market the franchise on the internet - thats in the works. I'm doing the same for my janitorial business, so my focus has been mostly on that - TIDALWAVE has been playing second fiddle for a while. We are in an industry that will explode over the next ten years. These chat boards and pressure washing organization have brought respect to this industry. Also all the people of these boards that educate themself and others have brought a form of standardization to pressure washing. Lots of people have really prosper with this growing industry - theres people that own chemical labels, on line stores, development of equipment, and organizations. Its great. I would love to apply some marketing to some of these ideas. sorry so long
