Praying for you Dave, keep us posted as you can.
Dave you are in our thoughts and prayers. I spoke with you a lifetime ago, (back in the late 90's) and always held you in high regard. If the package deal doesn't go through keep me posted as I may be interested in some of your equipment. I just hate to see you leave the industry. As many others have already said you are a true industry leader and pioneer. Good luck, and stay positive.
Randy
Due to my continued failing health I'm offering my business for sale.
The sale will include all business assets, including service trucks, equipment, tools, supplies, customer list, phone number, etc.
If we do not have a creditable offer by the end of February, we will liquidate everything by the first of April 2011.

Dave really enjoyed these chats and meeting, via forums, phone, and in person, many members.
He loved sharing his knowledge and experiences, and learned so much from all of you, as well! His really loved his Power washing business, along with his antique tractors! "Do what you love, and love what you do" could certainly describe Dave!
Thank you for your thoughtful responses and your prayers. They are very much appreciated!
And thank you Doug for spreading the word!!!!
God bless you all,
Peggy Olson
PS After reading the previous posts on this thread, and to answer the question about did he sell the business, no, he didn't, so he was able to enjoy talking with business and antique tractor friends up until a few days before his passing.
Still hard to believe Dave is Gone.. Strolling thru some old threads to look at some pictures and I came across this thread.. Just an all around great guy Dave was..
Still the most shocking heartbreaking post I think I ever read on the Net. A person so many cared so deeply about and everyone thinks he's going to pull thru because David Olsin was the type of Guy to never give up. I think of a Long Island homeboy Jimmy Valvano who was the coach of the college Basketball team NC State who he also coached at a relatively young age to a national championship. Jimmy V said "Never give up. Never ever give up" when he was dying and he was on the ESPY's. When Thoughts of Dave come to mind so does Jimmy V's. If there was ever two men who would fight in the trenches and bullets are wailing towards them you just know they would never give up....and they never did.
Dave was a giant and hopefully one day he gets honored on a national level from one of the many groups he belonged to such as PWI, PWNA, UAMCC and on and on. Many groups should honor this man yet like alot of things in life the idea just fades away...
I will keep coming back to revisit Dave on some of these old post and maybe one day I can help others honor him as well.
