For guys with 2 gun set ups

I have (2) 5.5 gpm on one trailer. With a ball valve in between the hose reels to turn them into one machine at 11 gpm. We run one hose to one side of house and the other hose to the other side of house. Then apply soaps. During the dwell time go one tech will go back to trailer and turn ball valve and woolaa rinsing at 11gpm. I found this much faster on typical houses.

I have found for house washing each guy soaping and rinsing their own walls works the best. but for big long walls like the backs of shopping centers or something along those lines,it works better to have one guy soaping and one guy rinsing. thats what works best for us but thats how we are setup to work might not work that way for someone else.

How do you do that with a 2 gun rig? If one is soaping, the other has no pressure.
I have a hydrotek scu30009 dual gun. Cant figure out that trick.

Both lines need to have a soap injector sized to the gpm of the line so a 10 gpm machine would need 2 5 gpm injectors to balance the lines. Even if the one operator is not soaping he still needs the injector to balance the line. The Allison Super Suds suckers are a good choice because they come with 4 different size orifices so you can balance the lines better.

When I set my 8gpm to 2guns, Why does one gun have more flow and pressure? (They are split with a T at the hose reel)

We can use two guns on an 8gpm machine when flat washing. House washing doesnt work for us. We have 3 machines on every rig. 2 always working and one for a backup.

Yes James, But I wondering why one hose has more flow and pressure if they have the same tip?

They shouldnt! Make sure your feed line is comming into the tee and then the water goes left or right. Make sense? We also tee off after the hose reel. So we have a MAIN line to a T then split. Make sure you have same lenth of hose after the T.

The hose is 50' shorter, Didnt think of that thanks James
