Flow unloader or Pressure Unloader?

Which is better on Steel coils?

I've been wanting to go to a flow unloader for awhile now....K-7 is the one I need?

Yep...just make sure it's rated for your flow. They are orificed differently according to flow rate.
 
Orfice

Russ....the K7 I believe comes with a #2 orfice and has to be changed to a #1 for proper bypass to tank. Do you carry this plumbing part??

We run a k-7. If you don't get the bypass orfice right she will do some funny things.

Here's the spec sheet for the K7. As you can see, there are 4 different flow ranges. The closer you are to the bottom of the flow range, the more likely for bypass cycling. The next smaller size bypass orifice (item #32) installed in the unloader will eliminate the problem.
